The Karate Kid premiered in 1984 to both critical and commercial acclaim. Listed in Entertainment Weekly’s Top 50 of “Best High School Movies” ever made, the film, directed by John Avildsen (Rocky), captured the thrill of the underdog and inspired thousands of young kids nation-wide. The movie made a bona fide star out of Ralph Macchio, who will share his experience and behind-the-scenes stories with fans of the movie in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see The Karate Kid on the big screen, and hear from Ralph himself!

Ralph’s storied film and television career includes Eight is Enough, The Outsiders, Crossroads, Ugly Betty, Entourage, & Dancing With The Stars. The Karate Kid brand continues to endure with numerous sequels including the Karate Kid 2 starring Jaden Smith currently in production.
