See for yourself in theYouTube clip of Marc Martel sitting in with the Queen Extravaganza on American Idol bringing down the house. This is the man that’s bringing his Queen band to The Santander Performing Arts Center.

It’s simple: Queen’s Roger Taylor (drummer) and Brian May (guitarist) handpicked singer Marc Martel to take on the lead vocals for their Queen tribute band known as Queen Extravaganza. If that isn’t a personal endorsement for this amazing artist, then we’re not sure what is. Marc not only sounds dead-on like Freddie Mercury, but he embodies the heart-and-soul Freddie poured into every song he performed. Marc now bring his tribute band, The Ultimate Queen Celebration to the Santander PAC for an evening you’ll be talking about long after the lights go down. It’s 23 songs that these legendary artists made famous including “Radio Gaga,” “Tie Your Mother Down,” “Fat Bottomed Girls,” “Killer Queen,” “Somebody to Love,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and more. Pull out those vinyl albums, warm up that singing voice and get ready to rock with the greatest Freddie Mercury voice on the planet. It’s one night only. It’s The Ultimate Queen Celebration.

It’s The Red Hot Chilli PIPERS – (NOT the Peppers!) -- a 9-piece ensemble consisting of pipers, guitarists, keyboards, and drummers -- who have been rocking the world from New York to Beijing to Melbourne and everywhere in between with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless.  The band has four music degrees from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and all the pipers and drummers have played at the top level in bagpiping.

Since they walked away with the top prize on the primetime TV talent show, “When Will I Be Famous” in the U.K. in 2007, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers haven't stopped for a breath, other than to inflate their bagpipes!  Formed in 2002, The Chillis have fast become a global phenomenon, taking their signature 'Bagrock' sound to the masses with their unique fusion of rocked up Bagpipes and clever covers of popular songs from all genres.  Their trademarked sound is a unique fusion of traditional pipe tunes – like “The Flowers of Scotland”, “The Hills of Argyll”, and “Amazing Grace” (done Chilli-style, of course!) -- and contemporary anthems like Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, “Clocks” by Coldplay, “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol, “Let Me Entertain You” by Robbie Williams, and a fantastic rock medley of “Deep Purple”, “Smoke on the Water”, and AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”.

Of course, there are only three of them – Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard -- but it’s still a remarkable achievement that they’re still very much together after more than 45 years of rock, blues, and boogie on the road and in the studio.  “Yeah,” says Billy, guitarist extraordinaire, “we’re the same three guys, bashing out the same three chords.”  With the release of each of their albums the band has explored new ground in terms of both their sonic approach and the material they’ve recorded. The behind-the-music story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.  They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story – a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. The show features all their hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You.”

A re-imagining of Puccini's La Bohème, RENT follows an unforgettable year in the lives of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With its inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, this timeless celebration of friendship and creativity reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters—love.

The show received its world premiere off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop on February 13, 1996 to ecstatic reviews and transferred to Broadway on April 29, 1996. RENT is winner of the 1996 Tony Award for Best Musical as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It is one of only five musicals to win both awards.

Oh, what a story. Frankie Valli, who came to fame in 1962 as the lead singer of the Four
Seasons, is hotter than ever in the 21st century. Thanks to the volcanic success of the Tony winning musical Jersey Boys, which chronicles the life and times of Frankie and his legendary group, such classic songs as “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Rag Doll,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” are all the rage all over again. With the play in its seventh blockbuster year on Broadway, and five other casts performing Jersey Boys nightly from Las Vegas to London, the real Frankie Valli is also packing venues around the world. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Seasons’ first hit “Sherry,” Frankie is touring England, Australia and New Zealand in 2012, inaddition to keeping up his busy schedule in the U.S.

The current excitement prompted Frankie to salute the decade that made him a star with his first new studio album in 15 years. In Romancing The ’60s, he put his own stamp on some of his favorite ’60s songs, the ones he always wanted to record but somehow got away. Produced by Bob Gaudio, an original member of the Four Seasons and Frankie’s long-time partner, the set includes unforgettable new versions of such gems as “Spanish Harlem,” “Call Me” and “Take Good Care of My Baby.” And the album features a guest appearance by four young stars of Jersey Boys, providing background vocals for—what else?—“On Broadway.” Launched amid Jersey Boy-mania, Romancing The ’60s has become the latest classic in Frankie Valli’s half-century of recording.

Daniel burst into superstardom in the USA back in 2002 with his first ever PBS special – The Daniel O’Donnell Show. That began a special relationship between Daniel and PBS and since then, he has recorded a further twelve specials, with ‘Stand Beside Me’ being his thirteenth one in 2013.  Stand beside Me is a concert celebration of Irish, country, gospel, rock, movie and long-time Daniel O’Donnell favourites. The title ‘Stand Beside Me’ is not only a popular song among concert goers, but also reflects Daniel’s belief that fans throughout his more than 10 years on PBS have brought him to where he is today, standing beside him making his career a success and he will be forever grateful to them.

The Irish singer made record-breaking chart history earlier this year by becoming the first recording artist in the history of the UK Artist Album Chart to have charted at least one new album every year since 1988, an unprecedented and unbroken 29 year span, surpassing everyone from Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones, Madonna and Irish strongholds U2.  Along with this, Daniel makes regular appearances in the Billboard World Music Chart.

In total, Daniel has now reached the UK Artist Albums Chart with more than 35 albums and has now amassed THIRTY Top 30 albums over the course of his career.

Over his long and continuingly successful career Daniel has received many accolades including an honorary MBE from Queen Elizabeth, an appearance on Top of the Pops, his life celebrated on This Is Your Life and multiple Entertainer of the Year/Person of the Year Awards in Ireland and the UK to add to his record breaking chart appearances.

Join the incomparable Mel Brooks live on stage for an exclusive, inside look at his storied career, and the making of the legendary and groundbreaking movie Blazing Saddles on Saturday, May 20 at the Santander Performing Arts Center. This outrageous masterpiece, considered one of the top comedy films of all time, will be presented on the big screen followed by a conversation and audience Q&A with Mel Brooks himself.

Mel Brooks, director, producer, writer and actor, is in an elite group as one of the few entertainers to earn all four major entertainment prizes – a Tony, Emmy, Grammy and Oscar. His career began in television writing for Your Show of Shows and together with Buck Henry creating the long-running TV series “Get Smart.” He then teamed up with Carl Reiner to write and perform the Grammy-winning “2000 Year Old Man” comedy albums and books. Brooks won his first Oscar in 1964 for writing and narrating the animated short The Critic and his second for the screenplay of his first feature film, The Producers in 1968. Many hit comedy films followed including The Twelve Chairs, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Silent Movie, High Anxiety, History of the World Part I, To Be or Not to Be, Spaceballs, Life Stinks, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Dracula: Dead and Loving It. His film company, Brooksfilms Limited, also produced critically-acclaimed films such as The Elephant Man, The Fly, Frances, My Favorite Year and 84 Charing Cross Road.

For three successive seasons, 1997-1999 Mel Brooks won Emmy Awards for his role as “Uncle Phil” on the hit sitcom “Mad About You.” Brooks received three 2001 Tony Awards and two Grammy Awards for The Producers: the New Mel Brooks Musical, which ran on Broadway from 2001 to 2006. The Producers still holds the record for the most Tony Awards ever won by a Broadway musical. He followed that success with The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, which ran on Broadway from 2007 to 2009 and both musicals continue to be performed and enjoyed by audiences all over the world.

In 2009 Mel Brooks received The Kennedy Center Honors, recognizing a lifetime of extraordinary contributions to American culture. His recent projects include the Emmy nominated HBO comedy specials “Mel Brooks and Dick Cavett Together Again,” and “Mel Brooks Strikes Back!” as well as a career retrospective DVD box set titled “The Incredible Mel Brooks: An Irresistible Collection Of Unhinged Comedy.” In the spring of 2013 he was the subject of an Emmy Award-winning American Masters documentary on PBS called “Mel Brooks: Make A Noise” and was the 41st recipient of the AFI’s Life Achievement Award.

The Backlot Project is a celebration of pop culture, bringing stars of TV and film off the screen and into an exciting, intimate live setting just for fans.  Each interactive Backlot Project takes audiences behind the scenes as they engage in a tell-all conversation with the talents that brought their favorite on-screen moments to life.
