Where is will call?
There is a will call window at both the arena and theater box offices. Will Call allows patrons to pick their tickets up the night of the event at the box office. Will Call is usually used when purchasing tickets over the internet or if you need to leave tickets for family, friends or associates.
When do doors open?
Doors will open one hour prior to the event time. Please be aware that event dates and times are subject to change at any time, so check back to our site often for updates on any special rules or regulations that may have been put in place for specific events. What is your bag policy?
Fans attending events at Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center will be permitted to carry one clear plastic or vinyl bag that does not exceed 12”x6”x12”, or one clear drawstring bag not to exceed 12”x12”, or one, one-gallon clear plastic or zip-lock, resealable bag.
A small clutch no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” may also be carried in addition to one clear bag.
All other bags (backpacks, large purses, oversized tote or mesh bags, reunsable grocer bags, drawstring bags, camera bag/binocular case, printed plastic bag, fany packs, or diaper bags) are strictly prohibited.
*An exception will be made to allow medical items that cannot be transported in a clear bag into the venue. Guests carrying medically necessary items or equipment will be required to have their bags or equipment inspected.
What is our cashless policy?
Starting in August of 2021 the Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center went cashless for all ticket, merchandise and concession purchases. All major credit/debit cards are accepted at the box office - in additon Apple Pay is accepted at concessions locations as well as credit/debit cards.
Can I bring a camera?
Professional cameras (professional = having a removable lens) and audio/video recording are strictly prohibited in the Santander Arena, Santander Performing Arts Center, and The Theater at Santander Arena for all events. This includes GoPros and Mirrorless DSLR’s. Exceptions to this include properly credentialed press by the artists, media, and those approved to photograph directly from the artist/artist management. Our house photographer will be present at nearly every event and we will provide a gallery of images on Facebook and our website for your enjoyment after the shows.
Can I bring food with me?
Outside food and beverage is prohibited at the Santander Arena, Santander Performing Arts Center, and The Theater at Santander Arena. Please do not bring any bottles of water/juice/soda or any alcoholic beverage of any kind. All patrons found bringing outside food and beverage into the arena will be asked to return it to their vehicle or dispose of it in the trash.
Where can I smoke?
Due to new security enhancements at the arena, Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center will be discontinuing the use of the exterior smoking areas and guests will no longer be permitted to leave the building and re-enter in order to smoke.
The new rule will be strictly enforced at all events and also prohibits the use of electronic “e-cigarettes” anywhere inside the facility.
What items are prohibited?
Listed below is a “partial list” of items that are prohibited at Santander Arena events. This list is subject to change without notice. Please contact Security for specific policies/information.
The following items are prohibited at our facilities (Rules Subject to Change per Artist Request):
- Outside food and beverage, bottles, glass, cans or flasks
- Laser pointers
- Glowsticks
- Unapproved Bags
- Backpacks of any kind
- Recording devices (audio or video)
- Professional Cameras/GoPros/Mirrorless DSLRs
- Tablets
- Selfie sticks
- Weapons; including but not limited to pocket knives, guns, box cutters, knives, mace, pepper spray, brass nuckles, fireworks, stun guns, etc.
- Studded jewelery including necklaces, belts, bracelets, rings and spurs
- Wallet chains
- Alcohol, drugs, and illegal substances
- Backpacks
- Bags larger than 14" x 14" x 6" will not be allowed. Each ticketed guest can carry one large clear bag – either a one-gallon plastic storage bag or the 14" by 14" by 6" clear bag – plus a small clutch purse.
- Golf/large umbrellas
- Heelies, skateboards, rollerblades, helmets, chairs, beachballs
- Noise making devices, air horns, drums, whistles
- Other items as determined by facility management
- All persons subject to search
What if I lost something?
The Santander Arena and The Theater at Santander Arena has a lost and found located in the security office. If you have lost or misplaced a possession and you believe it happened at one of these facilities, please call 610-898-7229 during normal business hours and ask to speak to someone in lost and found.
If you believe you have lost a possession at the Santander Performing Arts Center, please call 610-898-7229 to see if it is in the lost and found. Please note that the Santander Arena, Santander Performing Arts Center, and The Theater at Santander Arena are not responsible for lost possessions.
Are audio, video or other recording devices permitted?
Audio, video or other recording devices are not allowed into the Santander Arena or Santander Performing Arts Center. These devices include, but are not limited to, video cameras/camcorders and audio recording devices. Any equipment not conforming to these rules must be removed from the premises.
I am planning to bring a large group to an event. Can I get a group discount on tickets?
Specific shows/events allow groups discounts at the permission of the event organizer. The number that is considered to be a group varies on a show by show basis. Please visit the Group Tickets tab on our website for additional information.
Do you provide a coat check?
Is Public Wi-Fi access available to guests at the Santander Arena?
Yes, the Santander Arena offers free public Wi-Fi for all guests during events.
Your sound system is too loud, or not loud enough. Can you tell your audio people to fix it?
The Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center do not control the sound system for events. The show provides their own equipment and handles the sound level.
Can I resell my tickets?
The resale of event tickets on the grounds of the Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center is strictly prohibited. To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen tickets, or inflated prices, please purchase your tickets through Ticketmaster, the only authorized ticketing agency for the Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center.
What is the convenience fee? Do I have to pay it if I purchase tickets at the box office?
A convenience fee is a processing and manufacturing fee on tickets when purchased at outlets, over the phone or online. Tickets purchased at the Box Office may have a minimal facility fee or will not have any additional fees.
At what age is a child required to have a ticket for an event?
Most events do not require a ticket for children under the age of two. However, in order for a child to have his/her own seat, a ticket is required. Some shows intended for young children (i.e., Sesame Street Live) require children over the age of one to have a ticket. The Santander Arena Box Office is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10AM to 4PM for tickets sales and open at noon on all event days and Reading Royals home games.
How do General Admission floor tickets work?
General Admission floor tickets, located on the floor of the arena, is standing room only and there are no seats. Guests with GA Floor tickets wishing to arrive early to line up may do so as early as 7:00 a.m. Doors will open at the same time for all guests. After entering the building, all guests with General Admission floor tickets will receive a wristband to access the floor.
